International Wheelchair Dance Sport completion Continents Cup - 2013

International Wheelchair Dance Sport completion Continents Cup - 2013 shall take place from August 31 to September 1, 2013 in trade and exhibition center Crocus-Expo, Aquarium- hotel and Sport Arena.

CONTINENTS CUP - 2013- about 20 participating countries, 100 volunteers, exclusive symbolism, breathe taking individual dance couples contests, wide spectrum of advertising opportunities opening up before the partners of this contest, and an ocean large positive waves flowing in from the viewers!

Wheelchair Dance Sport – is a sport for persons with musculoskeletal disorders of different severity level. Notwithstanding that most of the contest participants are moving around on wheelchairs, the choreography, artistry and high degree of dance performance have a dazzling effect on all the viewers of this show. The main purpose of holding of this International Continents Cup event lies in that the Russian dancers should obtain the international-wide competition experience before the world championship starts, along with the opportunity to show off their skills and to promote other disabled young people involvement in active physical fitness and sports.

STEERING COMMITTEE: Interregional non-governmental organization of the handicapped persons Wheelchair Dance Sport Federation, panel of judges, appointed by International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

UNDER THE AUSPICES OF: The International Paralympic Committee, Ministry of Sports of Russian Federation, Ministry of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism of the Moscow region, Government of the Moscow region, SOZIDANIE- Noncommercial Fund for the Support of Medicine, Culture and Sport, and representatives of the Russian business. Financing: Partial financing provided by the RF Ministry of Sports, Government of the Moscow region and benefactors – official partners of the contest. Monetary funds shall be directed to the organization of the contest, engineering and fitting-out of the event, meal service for the participants, gratuity symbolic and valuable gifts for the contest participants, and, to be sure!, to the winners of the competition!
