Welcoming New Year of Snake!

On 26 December 2012 there was a New Year`s corporate event of one of the well – known Russian companies on the grounds of Inforprostranstvo. Our colleagues enjoyed greatly welcoming party of New Year of Snake to beautiful songs of Elka and Stereo Soup group.

Official start up of the Snake Year is from 10 th February, 2013 that is when the Snake will come in to its powers and shall seas its powers after 31 st January, 2014. The Snake year is featured by black, deep blue, blue and green colors. Its element is water characterized by mobility, dynamism and changeability. Thus, the symbol of the year 2013 will be Black Water Snake. Black color corresponds to space, polar night, «darkness over the abyss», dip waters. And this means that in the Year 2013 the following shall be requested: wise and well balances decision, in the first place made up not only analytically but suffered out emotionally. No aggression but in case it is then there will be no risqué to no one. Black Snake brings with itself latent changes for people, non stability and uncertainty. The Year of Snake requires that everything should be planned ahead of time and well - thought before making a step forward. It is necessary to become hundred-fold careful and mindful. Years of Snake are rarely characterized by tension and dynamism. If you want to know in the coming new year look at the New year symbol- a snake and compare this reptile`s behavior and habits with the every day life and you will guess what can be in store for us under its government. Snake symbolizes tardiness, wisdom, endurance and patience, that is why major attention should be given to creativity, education, skills u upgrading, looking for answers for difficult questions.

For most of the people New Year`s Day celebration is long- expected and beloved holiday. New Year’s Day is featured by such notions like magic, mysterious, amazing, and always unique. And people every and each one of us is in the state of waiting of the forthcoming miracle, nice fairy tale, renewed happiness... Someone are in keen to make wishes, believes that they shall come true despite of anything in the coming year! We are waiting for the chime of bells of the Kremlin clock, and glasses filled with sparkling champagne in our hands , we breathless stand anticipating the New Year`s entry in our homes – here it is long hoped-for holiday, New Year`s Day, a few more moments of time and HE will step over the threshold of our homes as rightful owner, tzar and emperor. He will come into our homes and shall bring with him sincere atmosphere of cordial warmth and harmony in our homes , health – as the most cherished jewelry given us from above, good luck and success - well enough to last throughout the coming year , love - filling up our hearts, and passion overwhelmed our rationality, full sack of gifts with a bunch of nice wishes with them!

This holiday is accompanied with joyful troubles and cares which are a must with this holiday, new year`s cooking, recipe sharing, table decorations. Each Hostess is preoccupied on this day with the culinary ideas how to surprise everyone of her family and friends with some exquisite specially prepared dish, usually tasty and delicious, and how to lay the table so that the odors of the aromatic salads and pies filled the house uncompromisingly, candlesticks, napkins shaped like snowflakes and cookies shaped like a Christmas tree. And of course tangerines with sweets and champagne! And what about the houses? It has been already for a few days that a forest beauty, all dressed up in tsarist apparels, all sparkling with lights and stars was guesting in our homes. It is decorated with unusually beautiful lustrous balls and fir-cones, and has been long waiting for this day! It is coming, coming, it is already knocking at the door, that long-expected moment when children and grown -ups shall reel New Year`s khorowods around our visiting beauty hand- in – hand with one anther. «The forest raised a Christmas tree..." – here it is the New Year`s day, here they are out happiness and joy!

On the New Year`s eve all of us try to do our best to cope with plural tasks and jobs, as wizards, magicians, kind-hearted fairies... Father Frost and The Snow Maiden receive children`s letters and prepare gifts for them. And all of these mean that the new year`s day shall without doubt come, and shall be as happy and joyful and bring with it a lot of fun as on the previous years.

And in the morning ... in the morning of the other day all of us just like kids will throw surreptitious glances directed below the Christmas tree in search of a sack with gifts? Who knows what if Father Frost is real :)
