Moscow Young Lawmakers 6th Congress

Moscow youth map has been changed. On November 22, 2012 a new location appeared on this map recently– the first in Russia Center of Youth Parlamentarism. There will be a volunteer center including areas for discussions and debates and holding main events for youth.

This event was witnessed by about a few hundred of active people from different districts of Moscow. A lot of other guests of honor visited the congress to congratulate the young lawmakers with this new home: deputies of Moscow city Duma, representatives of Family and Youth Policy Department and other city authorities.

The halls hosted exhibitions of the major youth organizations of the capital. The doors of the Center stayed open for all visitors notwithstanding their political and religious views. Parlamentarism means variety, open debates and carrying our joint solutions./p>

The ribbon was cut, and Irina Velikanova, Moscow city Duma deputy, curator of project "Moscow youth parlamentarism» handed over the key of center to Vladimir Vladimirov, leader of Moscow youth parliament. The new Center is open– you are Welcome!

The VI congress of young lawmakers was given an opening right after the opening ceremony. The distinguished young people of the past year were awarded with well deserved prizes, the past year achievements were summarized and plans for the future discussed.

Laureates in 9 nominations celebrated their victory this year:

• "For contribution to the city development" – Dmitriy Goryachev;
• "Best speaker" – Еkaterina Babaeva;
• "For active participation in lawmakers` schooll" – Аrtur Ovakimyan;
• "Best Leader of the generation" – Nikolai Syrkov;
• "Eko leader" – Ruslan Talysin;
• "Best journalistт" – Yuliya Matyunenko;
• "Best curator" – Sergei Malyzntz;
• "Most creative team" – Molodezhnoe Yabloko;
• "Best Youth Public Chamber of the district" – YPC of Biryulevo Zapadnoe district.

It goes without saying, not only the winners but every one of those present in this hall enjoyed their share of the atmosphere of the holiday, i.e. of the music, light, joy and hopes for the future, first time in their lives.

LLC "Independent Stage Company "AKSIOMA" became technical partner of the event. Here is the list of equipment which was offered for renting and erected by the employees of LLC"ISC "AKSIOMA" for the purpose of this event, 6-th congress of Moscow young lawmakers:

• Stage equipment: Prolyte suspension systems for video equipment;
• Power equipment: diesel generators of FG Wilson 160 kW.
