19 May, from 18:00 to 02:00. On 20 May, 2012 МАММ (Multimedia Complex of Actual Arts) was open free to all within the framework of the international cultural-and-educational action "Night at the Museum".

LLC "Independent Stage Company "AKSIOMA" have procured overall technical support of the "Renault’s presentation as part of "Night at the Museum" project.

Following the tradition, Renault, French automaker, displayed car models which are most popular in Russia: Clio and Megane. Visitors and Muscovites appraised worthily the proposed cars.

Renault is also a producer of various other makes of cars, such as Duster, Fluence, Kangoo, Koleos, Laguna, Latitude, Logan, Master, Sandero, Scenic, Symbol, Trafic.

That night, the visitors attended the exhibitions arranged within the frame of the "Night at the Museum" action:

  • "Unbeatable and Legendary ", exhibition dedicated to a nearly over a hundred years photo chronicle of the Russian armament as part of the historic- patriotic forum program named "Machine-building technics, 2012".
  • "Chessmen. The 20-th century". In the context of FIDE world chess championship held in Moscow, "Moscow House of Photography» museum displayed chess photos, and rarity chess sets from the Russian State Film and Photo Archive collection, along with collections presented by the Russian Chess Federation. In the lobby hall of the museum, there was deployed a special park-like area to play outdoor chess sets for the duration of the exhibition so that young visitors of the exhibition could have a chance to play chess with the original Lego chess sets.
  • "Wim Wenders "Pictures from the Surface of the Earth", panoramic photographs of the German iconic movie director, owner of the Grand Prix of the Cannes Film Festival, taken with, Plaubel Makina camera during his American journeys, and touring Cuba, Japan, Australia and Israel. The exhibition is ad hoc prolonged till May, 27!
  • Installation Project "Communal Avant-garde. Social utopia in the architecture of the end of 1920s and 1930s" — is an exhibition project of a future model town depicted in the display area with photo and audio materials collected in the social towns of Uralmash and Autostroy. The group of joint authors of the project included artist Vladislav Efimov, photographer Sergey Leontjev, musician Georgy Stefanov, and curators Elena Belova and Alisa Slavitskaya.
  • Exhibition "Arkady Shaikhet. Continuation. 1928-1931." — it is the second part of a big retrospective project devoted to the art work of one of the leading photojournalists of the Stalin era. It covers that period of his life, as a photographer and artist, when he was not yet “risen up" to the heights of his professionalism and public acknowledgement, but who was capable to live through, and descriptively comprehend and express the controversies, events and achievements of hic epoch.
  • МАММ, together with the publishing house "Samokat" were inviting young visitors to attend their special program: evening promenade of Moscow streets, such as Ostozhenka and Prechistinka streets, as well as to take part in the master class "I am painting my street".
  • In the cinema hall, from 18:00 to 02:00, broadcasting of Andrew Biljo’s animated cartoons in a non –stop mode, (they were the first messages from his solo exhibition to be displayed in the beginning of summer). Animated reels "Petrovich", animation films "Mu-mu and Gerasim", "Petrovich" and «Petrovich and mozgoyed" shall be transmitted pell-mell with a Soviet comedy "Shakhmatnaya goryachka" (“Chess fever”) (Directors: Vsevolod Pudovkin and Nikolay Shpikovsky) to be translated within the frame of the "Chessmen. The 20th century" exhibition.
  • May 19, 18:00 to May 20, 6:00. "Night at the Museum": at the railway stations of Moscow and regions. Video photographic action "Railway Museums of Russia" arranged by the "Moscow House of Photography” in association with the Central Museum of the Railway Transport, and the State Archives and ОАО "RZhD" and related to the 175th anniversary of the Russian railways. The museum exhibits, along with the accompanied information on them demonstrated the visitors a visual history of the Railway Transport of Russia, as well as the emergency of the new trends, and placed special emphasis on the names of people associated with the rail network development, history and design of the rolling-stock. 45 minutes video exposition was deployed in the passengers waiting & common rooms.
