Benefit concert "WE ARE TOGETHER" for children diagnosed with (ICP) within the frame of the music therapy

Throughout two consecutive years, the group of companies "Spin Music Service", and ООО "Independent Stage Company "AKSIOMA" have procured charitable technical support of "WE ARE TOGETHER" concert for children diagnosed with ICP (Infant Cerebral Palsy) within the frame of music therapy.

Music therapy - this is a controlled involvement of music for therapy, rehabilitation, education, and upbringing of infants and grownups suffering from somatic and mental diseases.

On May 30, 2012, at 15.00 Moscow time, BENEFIT CONCERT dedicated to the International Child Protection Day took place. This time Infant psychoneurological hospital №18 became a concert stage arranged for the young patients. The performance was held on the arched roof open stage of 6х4 m, and was featured by participation of such musicians and artists, as Gosha Kutsenko, Serghey Galanin , Aleksandr F. Sklyar, Mara, Umaturman, 7B, Znaki, Posle 11, Bratya Torsuyevy, Bratya Grim, Banderos, Ivanushki, including many other visiting guests, participants of the show.

Infant psychoneurological hospital № 8 is a unique center for rehabilitation and treatment of children with ICP. Last year, on May 5, President Dmitry Medvedev, and Moscow mayor Sergey Semenovich Sobyanin visited the hospital. The president was invited to visit the hospital by famous actor Gosha Kutsenko. Throughout a number of years Gosha Kutsenko’s charitable fund has been overseeing rehabilitation trends of children with disabilities (ICP) by way of arranging various charity drives (concerts, exhibitions, auctions) in support of the a. s. special needs children. Famous actor Gosha Kutsenko is one of the most active charity providers of our home-grown show business. He participates in concerts and exhibitions, and contributes to orphan homes.

According to D. Medvedev, he marveled both at the enthusiasm of doctors of Infant hospital №18, and the effects of their treatment, and rehabilitation of children diagnosed with ICP. The effects underlined by this medical institution’s employee’s experience, and bringing in the advanced technologies, including as well technologies used in space industry. President put forward the idea to start up a "Rehabilitation center for children diagnosed with cerebral palsy" on the basis of Infant hospital №18б where children and their parents could cover a complete course of treatment and rehabilitation, and which could also serve as Information Analysis Center to keep record of the number of children diagnosed with ICP.

Concert of May 30th, which was held on the territory of the hospital served as an additional ground to attract public attention to special needs children, to give a helping hand to these children to overcome their difficulties, to inspire them with faith and hope.

"ICP is not a sentence. It is a trial which one is capable to win through", said Tatiana Timofeyevna Batysheva, head doctor of Infant hospital № 18.
