Presentation of the new Porsche 911 Carrera in GUM

Presentation of the new Porsche 911 Carrera was made in GUM last Friday.

The format of event was a defile and exhibition of both rare and new Porsche cars.

Within the frames of the event Director General of Porsche Russland LLC Dr. Thomas Sterzel told everybody about technical characteristics of the new model.

The new Porsche 911 Carrera has a more comfortable wheel base, less height of the body and an active rear spoiler. Due to aluminum alloys the model became lighter by 45 kg. The engine is opposed gasoline of 3.4 l and 350 h.p. (version Carrera S — 3,8 l and 400h.p.). The dynamic of sport car is 0 to 100 km/h in 4,6 s for Carrera and 4,3 s for Carrera S. The model has 20 inch disks and Start/Stop system.

General Technical Partner of the event was "ISC "Aksioma" LLC.

Special features of the project:

• Power equipment of total voltage more than 0,5 MW.
• Non-typical exposure of sound of space along the stage car podium of 50 m length.
• 250 kW light equipment (more than 160 controlled light devices).
• Two huge truss structures for supporting light equipment of more than 150 m length.
