Layher stage constructions

Camel

is a tilt-covered stage executed of the Layher structure, most often of 8х6m size having the roof truss furnished with sound holding power portals. The name was derived from two sources: “gabion” from the Camel cigarette advertising, earlier before the LAYHER structure  came into being it looked like a camel-hump. At present time, it is considered to be an insecure and unpopular structure. The Camel construction cannot support high loads to be able to carry the suspended state-of-the-art lighting and sound facilities. Instead, improved high-end arch-type stage complexes or sloped shoulder "elevator"   form gable-roof stages of MPT-type are in use.
